Relaxation for the leaders of a disbanded neo-Nazi group

The three leaders of Blood and Honor Hexagon (BHH), a neo-Nazi group dissolved in 2019, were released on Wednesday in Marseille where they were tried for the infrequent offense of participating in a combat group.

“Neither the file nor the debates bring the proof that you had the will to register in an armed organization to fight”, indicated the president of the correctional court Karine Sabourin. No intentional element, ruled the court, despite materially constituted facts.

One year in prison required

On Tuesday prosecutor Laurie Leblond had requested one-year prison sentences against Loïc Delboy, 41, founder in 2011 of BHH, one year in prison including six months suspended against Pierre Scarano, his right arm and one year in prison suspended sentence against David Dumas, 51, treasurer of the Hexa Prods association, the legal showcase of BHH.

It had estimated that the three constituent elements of the combat group were met, namely a group having access to arms, endowed with a hierarchical organization and likely to disturb public order.

For the court, they are material. The possibility of disturbing public order is deduced, according to the judges, from the luxury of precautions taken to organize anti-communist rock concerts and mixed martial arts (MMA) tournaments, a discipline prohibited at the time.
