The police are investigating a 32-year-old woman from Fürstenried for attempted manslaughter. On Saturday, around 1 p.m., an emergency call was received about a dispute in an apartment in a multi-family house there. Accordingly, the woman is said to have injured a male acquaintance with a kitchen knife. The injured man called the ambulance himself.
Several police patrols found the injured man in the apartment; he had been wounded in the chest by a 14 centimeter kitchen knife. An ambulance treated him and took him to a hospital. There was no acute danger to life.
The alleged perpetrator was arrested after about an hour in the nearby apartment of a friend. According to initial investigations, the act was preceded by a relationship dispute. The perpetrator and the victim are known to the police from the narcotics milieu. The investigating judge issued an arrest warrant for the woman.
