The fire brigade went out to the Isar on Wednesday evening with a large contingent. A man saw a young woman go into the water on the Cornelius Bridge. According to the Munich fire department, his attempts to follow their path were unsuccessful. The passer-by became concerned and alerted the emergency services.
They came to the Isar with a large contingent to look for the woman. They walked the paths to the right and left of the river with headlights, and a helicopter was also used. The woman was finally seen by the crew of another fire truck when she came out of the water near the Reichenbach Bridge with wet feet but uninjured. The emergency services wanted to know from the woman why she went into the cold river. She replies that she was looking for her music box.
