“Guglhupfgeschwader” and “Rita Falk – Mrs. Eberhofer”

It starts this Monday (August 7th) at 8:15 p.m. in the first with the crime comedy and last year’s cinema success “Guglhupfgeschwader” (2022). “Gambling, winning millions and corrupt police officers” are the official themes in the book adaptation, according to director Ed Herzog (57). But actually this time everything revolves around personal relationships including a new dog, new girlfriend and new relatives in Eberhofer’s idyll.

Subsequently, from 10 p.m., BR will show the lifeline portrait “Rita Falk – Frau Eberhofer” about the creator of the cult crime series. The broadcaster’s announcement says: “Rita experienced an idyllic childhood in Oberammergau. But when the family moved to Landshut, she got into trouble. She did poorly at school and later entered into a marriage that failed early on. About her children to get by, Rita has to work. She also starts to write. With the crime novels about the village policeman Franz Eberhofer, Rita Falk became a bestselling author almost overnight.”

In the ARD media library the opening film “Dampfnudelblues” (2013) and the two crime comedies “Schweinskopf al dente” (2016) and “Leberkäsjunkie” (2019) are also available.

That’s what “Rendezvous Rendezvous” is about

“What is there to eat?” – “Nothing.” Bang at the Eberhofer-Hof: Grandma (Enzi Fuchs) is on strike! After what feels like 2,000 cakes and even more roast pork, bread dumplings and cabbage, grandma decides to get rid of the family care in the future. pure chaos! Papa Eberhofer (Eisi Gulp), Franz (Sebastian Bezzel), Leopold (Gerhard Wittmann) and Susi (Lisa Maria Potthoff) should finally learn to take care of themselves.

Now, of all times, Susi temporarily takes over Niederkaltenkirchen’s town hall as deputy mayor and, with her newly won power, reduces Franz’s post to half-time so that he can take care of his son Pauli in the future. This action touches Eberhofer’s masculinity sensitively.

Luckily, it doesn’t take long before a crow picks up a human ear and a deadlocked missing persons case surprisingly develops into a tricky murder case that reunites Franz and Rudi (Simon Schwarz) as an investigative dream team in top form again…
