The DFB sports court has set the penalty for Karim Adeyemi from Borussia Dortmund. The national player had seen the red card in the DFB Cup game at Hannover 96.
Karim Adeyemi will miss Borussia Dortmund in the next two games in the DFB-Pokal. The attacker was sent off by referee Sven Jablonski in the 85th minute of the game. The 20-year-old was left behind in the running duel with 96-player Derrick Köhn and therefore pulled the emergency brake.
BVB has already approved the verdict. It is not yet clear which games the German international will miss. The next cup round will be drawn on Sunday at 7:15 p.m. Borussia had won the game in Hanover 2-0 despite being sent off and thus made it perfect for the round of 16.
