The Spanish Football Federation did not take long to respond to the request of Barça president Joan Laporta. Yesterday, in a press release, the Barcelona president asked to obtain all the images and audio linked to the “phantom goal” not awarded to Lamine Yamal during the last Clásico. Despite Laporta’s public request, the FEF claimed according to Mundo Deportivo having never shared all the recorded videos of the matches, even when other clubs asked, and she will not make an exception now for Barça.
The Federation stated that there are no “a la carte audios”, although they are ready for a “constructive meeting” with Laporta and the Technical Committee of Referees (CTA). However, she published some dialogues between the field referee and the video assistance refereeing (VAR) during the Clásico, as well as edited images, but not all those requested by Laporta. Not enough to calm the controversy.
