Real Madrid are likely to sign goalkeeper talent Ferran Quetglas

Los Blancos strengthen their youth with one of the strongest young goalkeepers in Spain – and he’s coming on a free transfer too.
Spain’s record champions real Madrid has apparently secured the services of a goalkeeping talent. As the mark reported, the 16-year-old Ferran Quetglas will change from next season RCD Majorca to the royals.
The teenager’s contract on the Balearic island expires in the summer, so he is joining the Spanish capital on a free transfer. In Madrid he is said to have signed a contract for the next two years.

Quetglas is considered a great talent in Spain, and FC Barcelona, in the person of sports director Mateu Alemany, was also considered interested. Quetglas is goalkeeper for the U17 national team (five appearances) and has already been in the Mallorca pros’ matchday squad four times. At Real he is intended for the A-Juniors and should also be used in the Youth League in the future.
Real’s timetable, that’s how they write it mark, intends to develop Quetglas in such a way that he can succeed current goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois in a few years’ time. The Belgian is 29 years old and stands by LaLiga leaders under contract until 2026.
