Real estate in Germany: Fewer and fewer people want to buy – economy

The number of Germans who want to buy a property fell sharply in 2023. And this despite high rents and lower purchase prices. A new study shows something surprising.

Everything sounds better in English. For example, in the new European study by the real estate franchise company Remax, shared apartments are becoming “co-living”. A chic, modern solution to record rents and loneliness. More than half of those surveyed can imagine this, most of them unsurprisingly for cost reasons.
