Matti Bunzl is at least as pleased about all the mistakes that, in his eyes, were not made and the decisions that were avoided as he is about the solutions that were found. For example, it would have been entirely conceivable to close the aging Vienna Museum and build a stylish new building far from the city center. A second, smaller building could have been placed next to the old one and connected to the main building via a tunnel. Or you can leave the listed house in its current form and place a new, magnificent solitaire in the adjacent park on Karlsplatz.
