Whether casting show, game show or action show – on Saturday there was a lot of entertainment to see on television. But most viewers were captivated by a thriller.

With a thriller, the first clearly won the ratings battle on Saturday evening. The broadcaster showed “The Protector” with Marlene Tanczik – 6.45 million wanted to see it, which corresponded to a market share of 22.3 percent.

It was followed by ZDF with “The Giovanni Zarrella Show”, which was watched by 3.96 million (market share 15.0 percent).

RTL and ProSieben also had entertainment shows in the program: 1.73 million people (6.4 percent) spent their evening with “Deutschland sucht den Superstar” on RTL, while ProSieben’s new game show “Die Stapelshow” 1.49 million (5.3 percent ) interested. On Sat.1, on the other hand, there was real action with Dwayne Johnson – 1.44 million (5.1 percent) were interested in “Rampage – Big Meets Bigger”.

Another action veteran fought his way through “GI Joe – The Reckoning” at Vox: Bruce Willis reached an audience of 1.13 million (4.0 percent). 0.73 million viewers warmed to the romance “Ghost – Nachrichten von Sam” with Demi Moore and Patrick Swayze on RTLzwei (market share 2.7 percent).
