The third episode of the new ZDF crime series “Murder Sisters – Crime is a Family Matter” has also taken the lead in TV ratings. However, the episode “Phantom Pain” slipped below the four million mark on Friday evening: an average of 3.97 million people tuned in, which corresponded to a market share of 15.3 percent. 4.36 million viewers (18.7 percent) watched the first episode “Schwarzer Fisch” on September 2nd, 4.50 million (18.6 percent) watched the second episode “Total Schaden” on September 9th.

In the first, 3.65 million people watched “Die Eifelpraxis” at prime time on Friday evening, which corresponded to a quota of 14.1 percent. Meanwhile, the broadcast of the semi-finals of the German team at the European Basketball Championship aroused a lot of interest on RTL: an average of 2.18 million people (8.4 percent) watched the first quarter of the game. Interest increased steadily until the end – 3.80 million (15.7 percent) attended the last quarter. The German basketball players lost against world champions Spain.

The Sat.1 casting show “The Voice of Germany” held its own with 1.88 million viewers (7.7 percent). 1.08 million (4.2 percent) were interested in the science fiction film “Venom” on ProSieben, 0.98 million (3.8 percent) on Vox in “Goodbye Germany! The Emigrants” and on the action film ” xXx – Triple X” on RTLzwei 0.80 million (3.2 percent). An episode of the US crime series “Navy CIS” shown on Kabel Eins from 8:15 p.m. reached an audience of 0.71 million (2.8 percent).
