For the game Argentina against Croatia, the most people tuned in on Tuesday evening. The ZDF thriller came far behind in second place.

The ZDF thriller “The Disappearing Family” was the most successful counter-program to the World Cup on Tuesday evening. The two-parter with Heino Ferch, Barbara Auer and Rainer Bock came to 4.05 million viewers (13.5 percent) from 8.15 p.m. in the second.

The broadcast of the soccer World Cup was far more successful. 9.13 million (31.0 percent) watched Argentina’s 3-0 semi-final win over Croatia. RTL had the thriller “Passenger 23 – Disappeared on the High Seas” with Lucas Gregorowicz, Picco von Groote and Oliver Mommsen – 1.24 million (4.5 percent) watched.

The regional thriller “Friesland: Prima Klima” ran on ZDFneo – the film with Maxim Mehmet, Sophie Dal and Theresa Underberg got 1.12 million (3.8 percent) into the house. The American series “Navy CIS” with Mark Harmon, Sean Murray and Wilmer Valderrama attracted 980,000 crime fans (3.3 percent) to the TV screen on Sat.1.

860,000 people (3.0 percent) spent the evening with the ProSieben clip show “The world is amazed”. 860,000 people (3.0 percent) wanted to see the Vox docu-soap “Hot oder Schrott – Die Allestester”. The social report “Poor Germany – stamping or toiling away?” on RTLzwei had 640,000 viewers (2.2 percent).
