Rare comments on Prince William’s mother: During an appearance in Wales, Kate also spoke about Princess Diana.
Princess Kate (41) has apparently spoken publicly about her late mother-in-law, Princess Diana (1961-1997). Prince William’s wife (40), who recently bore the title Princess of Wales, like Diana once did, chatted with Royal fans in Wales – and was also asked about her engagement ring. When he proposed, Prince William gave her a piece of jewelry with a blue sapphire that previously belonged to Diana.

Kate was not only celebrated by Royal fans in Wales for the rare comments about Diana. During the trip she also met a young mother from the region. Her one-year-old son stole Kate’s handle handbag, which apparently didn’t bother her at all.
The British broadcasting network ITV shows on its website how confidently Kate masters the situation. Without hesitation, she lets little Daniel play with the handbag while she chats with other Royal fans. “He can have them to play with. I’ll come back and pick them up,” Kate joked, according to Daniel’s mother Lucy.
