There are always disputes between the rap greats. Kanye West now apparently wants to put an end to this.
Rapper Kanye West has invited the Canadian rap superstar Drake to a concert. “Drake and I have insulted each other, and it is time to end that,” said the 44-year-old in a video that music promoter and record boss James Prince published on Twitter. Kanye West – who recently called himself “Ye” – reads the words from his cell phone in the video.
“I’m making this video to address the constant back and forth between me and Drake,” West says at the beginning of the short clip. A little later the invitation: “I’ll ask Drake to come to me on stage as a special guest on December 7th to present the two biggest albums of the year live in Los Angeles.”
The musician, who grew up in Chicago, released the album “Donda”, named after his late mother, on August 29th. Drake’s “Certified Lover Boy” came out less than a week later, with which he set a chart record.
