“Rammstein” are going on tour again: New concerts in 2024 – Culture

The band Rammstein wants to go on tour again next year. The six musicians announced this on Tuesday via the band’s social media channels. “Today Rammstein announce their European Stadium Tour 2024!” it says.

In August, the Berlin public prosecutor’s office stopped its investigations against singers Till Lindemann and Alena M. The proceedings against Lindemann were conducted on suspicion of committing sexual offenses and violations of the Narcotics Act after reports had been filed against him and M. by uninvolved third parties.

Around a dozen women had previously made allegations against Lindemann in conversations with NDR, SZ and other media. They reported on an alleged system that primarily served to introduce young women to the band’s frontman before, during and after concerts. There were also sexual acts that some of the women described as violent and assaultive.

The tour should be as extensive as the third part this year

Through a law firm, Lindemann had made allegations, particularly on social networks, “from various women” that they had been drugged with knockout drops or alcohol at Rammstein concerts in order to enable the singer to perform sexual acts on them to be able to have it rejected as “untrue without exception” and legal action against the individual people announced.

Details about the now announced tour were not initially published. According to dpa information, the series of performances will be as extensive as the third part of their European tour this year. The tour has been running since May 2019 with interruptions due to corona.
