It is “Case 26” from the Munich abuse report that is of particular interest to the public prosecutor. So much so that, according to SZ information, she obtained a search warrant for the archdiocese. There is no suspicion against the current diocese leadership around Archbishop Reinhard Marx, but the mere fact that there was a search has symbolic and political significance. It is not known what initial suspicion arises for the investigators from case 26.
