German arrested for child pornography in Mallorca

Investigators found 4,776 photos and videos containing child pornographic material of the man, who immediately confessed.
A police department specializing in cybercrime determined that the man, who lived alone, downloaded a large number of files containing child pornography from the Internet between the end of 2023 and the beginning of 2024 and also sent them on. 4,776 photos and videos containing child pornographic material were found on the German’s computer.
In Spain, such cases can be punished with between one and five years in prison. Prison sentences of up to two years are usually suspended.
