A suspected drug gang has been exposed in Austria. The police not only seized large quantities of cannabis, but also forged passports, among other things.

During a raid against a suspected drug gang in Austria, 1,060 kilograms of herbal cannabis were seized. It was mainly grown and packaged in two halls on a total of 2000 square meters south of Vienna, as the police announced on Wednesday. The marijuana was mainly intended for the Austrian market, said a spokesman for the German Press Agency.

13 people were arrested during the operation in Vienna, Lower Austria and Upper Austria. Cash and gold ducats worth almost 300,000 euros were seized from the two main suspects, aged 53 and 29, as well as forged passports and driving licenses.
