Radio: I want the world to know about it. The hours of Hamas’ attack – Media

“I want the world to know about it”: In a radio feature, Israelis talk about the hours in which they survived Hamas’ terrorist attack.

Borders are never far away in Israel. In Kibbutz Cholit they are particularly close: it is just two kilometers to the Gaza Strip and hardly further to Egypt. Life in the kibbutz is 90 percent paradise and 10 percent hell, says Gigi Lev, a 62-year-old resident. Ten percent hell because of the regular rocket fire by Hamas for many years. However, there were good, friendly contacts with the immediate Palestinian neighbors. Oren Zvada, who also lives in the kibbutz, says: “When there was rocket fire on Cholit or something happened in the Gaza Strip, we called each other: What’s the situation with you? Did it hit you, is everything okay?”
