A family of raccoons uses a donut shop’s “drive through” window to get food.
One by one the cute animals get a snack from the food serving window of the fast food restaurant and disappear.
The raccoons keep coming back to the distribution point for months.
But when the animals become too trusting, the family is relocated.
Experts and authorities warn against feeding raccoons. There is a risk that the animals would become intrusive towards humans or become dependent on them as a source of food.
The recordings were made in the Canadian province of Ontario in 2016 – but in June 2022 the video went through the roof on social media and on Reddit.
Years after their feedings at the fast food window, the raccoon family achieved late internet fame.
