Quinté+ on Sunday at Vincennes in the Prix Maurice de Folleville Final Grand National du Trot Paristurf, a Group II level harness race, over 2850 meters on a long track, for 5 to 10 year olds inclusive who have participated in at least one of the thirteen Grand National du Trot events in 2022. GAMAY DE L’ITON (our photo) presents itself with a theoretical first chance.
6 GAMAY DE L’ITON : On January 23 and February 13, he won at Group III level at Vincennes. Then spared for several months, he returned to success by clearly showing himself to be the strongest in the stage of November 23 in Rouen-Mauquenchy. He has the means to provide the winner of this Final.
2 HAUFOR GULL : This year at Vincennes, he has a victory and a first accessit in Group III at Vincennes. He finished second in the October 23 stage in Nantes and disappointed in the November 23 stage in Rouen-Mauquenchy, but he was not barefoot that day. On Sunday, he will be unshod on all fours, a configuration in which he performs very well. Given his potential, he also deserves a lot of credit in this Final.
5 FAKIR OF MAHEY : Winner of the stage of August 10 at Pornichet-La Baule, then that of September 28 at Vire, he has just won on November 12 in a race A over the 2700 meters of the big track. He has a good card to play.
3 GENTLY DE MUZE : He has thirteen victories and eleven places in thirty-seven outings. Victorious in the June 22 stage in Toulouse, he also finished third in the Green Trophy Final, in Craon. Prepared for this GNT Final by Jean-Michel Bazirethis son of Perlando looks formidable.
10 THIN HILL : At the last winter meeting at Vincennes, it had won three races in a row, including a Group III. It has just proved its form by winning in a level A Quinté+ on 21 November over 2700 meters of the long track. An excellent finisher, she has the means to obtain a good ranking despite her initial handicap of 25 meters.
13 ECHO OF CHANLECY : In the GNT stages this year, he finished second on June 8 at Laval, second on August 10 at Pornichet-La Baule, fourth on September 28 at Vire, first on October 19 at Feurs and first on November 9 at Nantes. Overall, he is second with 60 points. He is essential in this Final.
8 EIRE OF HELIOS : With 64 points, this is the current yellow jersey of this GNT 2022. In this year’s stages, he finished third on March 9 in Reims, third on May 25 at Croisé-Laroche, fourth on June 8 in Laval , fifth on September 7 at Meslay-du-Maine. Ideally entered at 530 € from the limit of recoil, it will present itself well sharpened for this Final. He’s a good underdog.
4 EDY DU POMMEREUX : Third in the stage of September 28 in Vire, third in that of October 19 in Feurs and fourth in that of November 23 in Rouen-Mauquenchy, it is possible for a small place, having the advantage of starting first post.

Bazire private hunting ground!
With its eighteen runners, spread over three starting levels, the Final of the Grand National du Trot will obviously be the scene of your ZE5 event, ZEturf’s flagship bet. A test reserved for Jean-Michel Bazire, quite simply winner of the last six editions! Very unhappy lately and ideally placed in the lead, Gently de Muze seems well equipped to perpetuate the tradition. The “boss” will have two other cartridges, at 25 meters, with Feydeau Sevenbarefoot this time and capable of a stunt, that we slipped, and Urzy Fairplay, disappointing lately but just as competitive, which we have chosen not to retain. To break the hegemony of “JMB”, we think in priority of Haufor’s Gulldeferred this time, contrary to his last attempt, and Fakir of Mahey, which is revealed late on the big track. Casual winner of the final stage of the circuit, Gamay of Iton will also have a say in mind. At the second post, in addition to Feydeau Seven, we opt for Echo of Chanlecymotivated to steal the yellow jersey on the post, and Thin Hill, who did a funny “trick” for his return to Vincennes. It’s the final of the Grand National du Trot which supports Quinté + (Top 5 on genybet.fr) this Sunday at the Hippodrome de Vincennes. They are 18 at the start and Jean-Michel Bazire could once again shine in this race which has smiled on him so much in the past. He introduces Gently de Muze (3), a trotter in full evolution which should of course not be judged on its last outing. It had a formidable meeting last winter and should resume its forward march. Jean-Michel Bazire knows how to prepare for this race better than anyone. It will be preferred to Thin Hill (10). This mare presented by Matthieu Abrivard has just returned to success, she still seems to have a little margin and can fight for victory after a good run. That is the class. Gamay of Iton (6) performed a number on the racecourse of Mauquenchy recently in the last stage in the province of this Tour de France of trotters. He appreciates this route and has the right to fight for victory.
Haufor Gull (2) is better than his last performance, he finds the Parisian cinder with ambitions and should show his best face. Better to have it with you in a game. Feydeau Seven (15) is still capable of great things and will not have the best Vincennes horses on its way this Sunday. Faced with this opposition within its reach, it should restore its image. It’s a chance at least for places. Echo of Chanlecy (13) should not be discarded in an expanded combination. This serious and regular horse has the right to do well here. Fakir of Mahey (5) can do well at the first rung. He is currently evolving at the top of his game and will give the best of himself. Mistrust… Farah des Caux (9) will be our eighth choice, it has less margin in this lot but if its edge is preserved, it can complete the winning combination of Quinté+ at good odds.
