The 2022 edition of Trotting Grand National is gradually approaching its end. Before the Final in Vincennes next month, theRouen-Mauquenchy Racecourse welcomes this Wednesday, the 14th stage of the circuit. The sixteen age trotters lined up at the start of this meeting are divided into three levels. Our choice fell on the first starting post, and in particular on the 6-year-olds HAUFOR GULL and GAMAY OF ITON.
4 HAUFOR GULL (photo) : For his debut in the GNT 2022, this double quinté winner took a good 2nd place in the stage of Nantes, at the beginning of the month. Gifted and having the advantage of starting at the first starting rung, he is one of the priority choices of the race.
3 GAMAY OF ITON : Admittedly, he hasn’t crossed the finish post as a winner since February. That said, he was deemed worthy of competing in the Prix de Sélection (Gr.I), at the start of the year, and he has just proved his good condition by finishing 2nd in the recent Prix Médusa, at Vincennes. First chance.
7 FALCO D’HAVAROCHE : In ten quintés disputed, he signed two victories and four places. In addition, its recent 2nd place obtained in the recent and well composed Prix d’Argentan, attests to its good degree of form. Aligned in addition barefoot, and well located at the first rung, it looks formidable.

1 FRAGONARD DELO : He is the least rich of the race and has no room for maneuver in such a society. However, he has just taken 3rd place in the Nantes stage on 9 November. With commendable regularity and again barefoot, he tried to do as well as last time. Mistrust.
2 FLOWER BY MAGALOU : If it is still looking for a first victory in a fifth, it has five places in twelve attempts. She notably took 6th place in the postponed stage of this GNT, in April. Remaining on a series of three podiums, and presented unshod, it can spice up the reports of the quinté.

Last provincial stage of this GNT 2022 before the Final disputed on December 4 in Vincennes, this meeting could well smile on a newcomer to the tournament with Gamay of Iton, back in the foreground after a slump, and which is facing a favorable entry. First theoretical chance on his values from last winter, he finds Gabriele Gelormini, with whom he forms a perfect tandem, and seems able to strike a blow even if he will have to pull out all the stops to hope to dominate.
