Queen Elizabeth has renewed the vow she made to the people of the Commonwealth in a broadcast address on her 21st birthday.

Queen Elizabeth II (95) renewed the promise she made to the people of the Commonwealth on her 21st birthday in a radio address on Sunday (6 February) on the occasion of her 70th jubilee to the throne. The then Crown Princess said: “I declare before all of you that I will dedicate my whole life, long or short, to your service.”

In the Queen’s new message, among other things on Instagram It reads: “On this anniversary, it gives me pleasure to renew my promise to you, made in 1947, that I will always dedicate my life to your service.”

Queen Elizabeth is looking forward to the jubilee celebrations

Elizabeth has been Queen of Britain since the death of her father, King George (1895-1952), on 6 February 1952. Queen Elizabeth II is celebrating her platinum jubilee at her country estate, Sandringham House.

From there, she also thanked the public and her family for their support and expressed her anticipation for the Jubilee celebrations coming up in early June. “I hope this anniversary will bring families and friends, neighbors and communities together,” so the record monarch.
