The new grammar school in the municipality of Putzbrunn will be connected to the district heating network. The association of secondary schools in the south-eastern district of Munich has now decided this, as Ottobrunn Mayor Thomas Loderer (CSU) reports. Initially, this had not been included in the planning for the new building, but at his instigation the association decided differently. “Now a concrete offer is obtained,” says Loderer.
The district heating network is also being expanded in the municipality of Ottobrunn. According to a decision by the municipal council, the town hall, the Wolf-Ferrari-Haus and the elementary school on Friedenstrasse are to be connected to geothermal energy as quickly as possible. In addition, according to Loderer, the expansion of the network along Putzbrunner Straße to the neighboring community should also be promoted and a “ring closure” created between the community parts west and east of the S-Bahn.
