The woman from Kyiv only has a travel bag with her and her two boys Kolja and Oleksandr, four and seven years old. She had to leave her husband behind in Ukraine, but the threat had become so acute in recent days that she had no choice but to flee with her children. She tells all of this to Florian Hahn, the member of the Bundestag from Putzbrunn, who traveled to the Ukrainian-Polish border area on Sunday as part of a four-strong delegation of CSU representatives to get a first-hand impression of the arrival of the refugees in the European Union.
