On Monday, the United Kingdom and Ukraine signed a digital trade agreement to facilitate trade between the two countries.
In addition to this agreement unveiled at the end of last November, as part of British support for Kiev in the face of the Russian invasion, the United Kingdom announces the extension of the abolition of customs duties on all imports of Ukrainian products until March 2024 .
The agreement signed virtually on Monday by the British Minister and the Ukrainian Minister of Economy Yulia Svyrydenko allows Ukraine “guaranteed access to financial services crucial for reconstruction efforts” thanks to the “facilitation” of the flow of data , according to a statement from the UK Department of Commerce.
“Ukrainian companies will also be able to trade more efficiently and cheaper” with the United Kingdom thanks to electronic transactions, signatures and contracts, continues the text.
