The Moroccan Noussair Mazraoui’s post continues to cause a stir. Now the Central Council of Jews is commenting on the case. The German football record champions come out well.

The Central Council of Jews considers the clarification of Noussair Mazraoui’s controversial pro-Palestine contribution was inadequate, but he praised FC Bayern Munich for its actions in the case.

“The post by the player Noussair Mazraoui is an unspeakable derailment,” wrote the association in a statement for the “Augsburger Allgemeine”.

It was noted that the Moroccan national soccer player subsequently distanced himself from any terrorist organizations. “Unfortunately, Mazraoui continues to fail to clearly condemn Hamas’ barbarism,” the Central Council said.

The 25-year-old had shared a video on social networks wishing the Palestinians a victory in the conflict with Israel. The FC Bayern professional shared a short clip in which a voice says in the style of a prayer: “God, help our oppressed brothers in Palestine so that they can achieve victory. May God give mercy to the dead, may God heal their wounded.”

Mazraoui makes a statement

After the post caused a stir, the footballer spoke out again. A statement made available to the German Press Agency said in English: “The point is that I strive for peace and justice in this world. That means that I will always be against all kinds of terrorism, hatred and violence become.”

German record champions FC Bayern announced yesterday that they would have a conversation with Mazraoui after his return. “FC Bayern contacted Noussair Mazroui immediately after his Instagram posts on Sunday. The player is currently in Africa with the Morocco national team. After his return, a detailed personal conversation with the club management in Munich is planned,” said the Association of the German Press Agency on Monday.

Central Council: “FC Bayern Munich’s approach is appropriate”

The Central Council of Jews believes this to be correct. “We consider FC Bayern Munich’s actions as a club to be appropriate so far,” the statement said.

Last weekend, Palestinian terrorists carried out a devastating attack on Israeli civilians on behalf of Hamas. Israel says it wants to destroy the Hamas ruling party in the Gaza Strip, which killed more than 1,400 people in the terrorist attack on Israel. Shortly after the attack became known, FC Bayern wrote on the X platform (formerly Twitter) that they were worried about their friends in Israel.
