Prison closed for having brutally assaulted and robbed a man under guardianship

He lived through hell. In August 2020, a young man placed under curatorship had been savagely attacked by a gang of six young people who wanted his money, reports West France. Judged Monday before the Lorient court, the defendants had shown up at the victim’s home in Guidel to rob her. They hit her first with punches and kicks and then with a baseball bat.

The violence then escalated when one of the suspects tied up and undressed the individual before lacerating his thigh with a kitchen knife. A bottle of alcohol had also been poured over his swollen skin.

Another man beaten up two months earlier

The savagery continued with threats of rape and kidnapping. The band of attackers had finally abandoned their victim, traumatized for life, before leaving with a derisory loot.

Two months earlier, the defendants had already engaged in a savage attack on another individual in Pluvigner near Auray. Dealing some drugs, the victim had been literally massacred by the attackers who had seized some cash and narcotics. Five of them were sentenced on Monday to terms ranging from six months to four years in prison.
