Princess Kate has a reputation for being very down to earth. Now she has let a baby play with her purse without hesitation.
During a visit to Wales, Princess Kate (41) proved once again that she seems to have kept her feet on the ground as a member of the royal family. During the trip, she met a young mother from the region, among others. Her one-year-old son stole Kate’s handle handbag, which apparently did not bother Prince William’s wife (40) at all.
Little “Hurricane” with Kate’s purse
The British broadcasting network ITV shows on its homepagehow sovereign Kate masters the situation. Without hesitation, she lets little Daniel play with the handbag while she chats with other Royal fans. “He can have them to play with. I’ll come back and pick them up,” Kate said, according to Daniel’s mother Lucy.
Lucy didn’t expect anything else from her son, who was like a little “hurricane”. “I think she can understand how difficult it is with children,” says the mother in an interview with the broadcaster. Indeed, Kate could not be a stranger to similar games. She and Prince William have their daughter Charlotte (7) and two sons George (9) and Louis (5).
The background to the visit of Prince William and his wife in Aberfan, Wales, was a rather sad occasion. In 1966, an overburden heap slipped in the mining village. 144 people, including 116 children, lost their lives at the time. William and Kate paid their respects to the victims of the disaster at a facility built in memory of those who died. The royal couple also shows impressions of the visit on his Instagram account.
