Princess Ingrid Alexandra of Norway celebrated her 18th birthday. With a big feast and a special robe.

Princess Ingrid Alexandra of Norway (18) celebrated her 18th birthday. At a gala dinner, which her grandparents, King Harald V (85) and Queen Sonja (84), organized for her in Oslo, she presented herself in a white tulle dress by Monique Lhuillier, said to be worth 1,500 euros.

The birthday boy wore a white cloth over the long robe with ruffles at the waist and wide skirt. Light-colored pumps from Christian Louboutin rounded off the princess’ outfit. She had tied her hair back in a ponytail.

Europe’s top royals are coming to Oslo

Princess Ingrid arrived with her parents, Crown Prince Haakon of Norway (48) and Crown Princess Mette-Marit (48), as well as her grandparents Queen Sonja and King Harald. Mette-Marit chose a yellow dress with a floral design, Sonja an elegant blue robe for the event. Also attending the celebration was Princess Märtha Louise of Norway, 50, in a pink robe, and her fiancé, Durek Verrett, 47.

Ingrid Alexandra of Norway’s 18th birthday was already on January 21st of this year. Because of the corona pandemic, the royal family had postponed the celebrations to June. According to media reports, after the gala dinner on Thursday, another big celebration is to follow this Friday (June 17) in Oslo Castle. Among others, the Dutch King Willem-Alexander (55) with his wife Queen Máxima (51), Spain’s monarch Felipe VI. (54) and Queen Letizia (49), Danish Crown Prince Frederik (54) with wife Mary (50) and Sweden’s Crown Princess Victoria (44) with husband Daniel of Sweden (48). Frederik, Victoria and Felipe are the godparents of Princess Ingrid, who is second in line to the Norwegian throne after her father.
