Her two sons are scheduled to speak at a memorial event for Diana. Even though Harry is only connected, they stay out of each other’s way.

Prince Harry (39) is to take part in a memorial service for Princess Diana (1961-1997) in London via video call. He will apparently not see his brother – although Prince William (41) is also scheduled to appear there this Thursday (March 14th).

At the “joint appearance” at the Diana Legacy Awards ceremony at the Science Museum in London, the two sons of King Charles (75) and Diana, whose relationship is considered broken according to media reports, will not be seen in the room at the same time. At least that’s what the “Daily Mail” reported before the event.

The newspaper writes about the event that William is expected to give a speech to mark the 25th anniversary of The Diana Award charity and honor 20 winners. The Prince of Wales will not be accompanied by his wife, Princess Kate (42), who is continuing to recover from abdominal surgery.

William leaves before Harry speaks

Prince Harry, who has lived in California since 2020, will then reportedly take part in a video call with the winners. According to the Daily Mail, his brother is said to have already left the ceremony at this point. Before their falling out, William and Harry often appeared at the event together to pose with the honorees.

The relationship between the two brothers is said to have been strained since Prince Harry and his wife, Duchess Meghan (42), resigned as high-ranking royals in 2020 and moved to the USA. A years-long public dispute with Harry’s family followed. In Harry’s autobiography “Reserve”, in interviews and in a Netflix documentary, the couple had sometimes dealt violently against the royal family. During Prince Harry’s short visit in February after King Charles’ cancer diagnosis, his father is said to have welcomed him for less than 45 minutes, and he did not meet his brother Prince William.
