Prince Harry treated himself to a men’s weekend: he attended the Formula 1 race in Austin without his wife Meghan.
After a romantic vacation in the Caribbean with his wife, Duchess Meghan (42). Prince Harry (39) now has a solo appointment: He attended the Formula 1 race in Austin, Texas. He seemed very relaxed – perhaps also thanks to the relaxing days on the island of Canouan.
Relaxed in the pit lane
The Duke of Sussex chose a casual outfit with a black polo shirt and aviator sunglasses for his visit to the US Grand Prix. Behind the scenes he visited the Mercedes and Red Bull teams. Photos show him in a good mood talking to managers and team members. As Daily Mail reportedthe royal himself already has a little racing experience: he once took part in a go-kart race with the British racing driver Johnny Herbert (59).
In Austin on Sunday (October 22nd) he watched Red Bull driver Max Verstappen (26) take the 50th Grand Prix victory of his career at the Circuit of The Americas. The US Grand Prix has been taking place on the race track in Texas since 2012.
This time Prince Harry came to the Formula 1 weekend without his wife. The two of them have made several appearances together. In September they visited the Invictus Games in Düsseldorf, and on October 10th they took part in various events for their Archewell foundation in New York. They then treated themselves to a break on the Caribbean island of Canouan. There they were photographed holding hands while taking a walk, defying persistent rumors of a marital crisis. Apparently it was a romantic vacation for two: the children Archie (4) and Lilibet (2) are said to have been neither seen on the runway when they returned nor during the vacation.
