In his latest book, author Christopher Andersen reveals who asked about Archie’s skin color, but also that Prince Charles and Prince William consider Prince Harry’s reaction to be exaggerated.

Duchess Meghan and Prince Harry revealed on the Oprah Winfrey TV show in the summer that someone from the Royal Family should have asked about the skin color of the then unborn son of the two. US author Christopher Andersen speculates in his new book “Brothers and Wives: Inside the Private Lives of William, Kate, Harry, and Meghan” that Prince Charles was the questioner. But now new details about the spicy situation are coming to light. According to Andersen, the heirs to the throne should have a clear opinion on Prince Harry’s response to this inquiry.

The author of the royal book now said in an interview: “What Prince Charles asked, every grandparent would probably ask.” The heir to the throne is said to have said in a very friendly manner: “I’m curious to see what Harry and Meghan’s child will look like, hair color, eye color, skin color …” But according to Andersen, the statement was carried on by palace employees over time and more and more distorted.

Prince Harry confronted his family

By the time the statement reached the Duke of Sussex, it is said to have been very fluffy. The 37-year-old then confronted his father and brother Prince William with what he had heard. The reaction of the 73-year-old and his eldest son is said to have been clear, according to Andersen’s book. They found Prince Harry’s emotional response to be “oversensitive” and “overreacting”. This assessment is said to have worsened the already difficult situation between the three men.
