Price for the Z1 model with 256 GB of memory should be known

You’ve heard: ASUS will launch a gaming handheld with Windows 11, the ASUS ROG Ally. ASUS has already given some details, but not all.

However, there will probably be some models that differ in terms of memory and Ryzen chip. There was a leak recently.

Asus therefore stays under $700 for the top model. The higher-end Asus ROG Ally will likely cost $699.99. That’s the price for the model with an AMD Z1 Extreme chip, 16 GB of RAM and a 512 GB SSD.

$699:

7″ FHD 120Hz
AMD Z1 Extreme
16GB LPDDR5
AMD Radeon Navi3 Graphics
512GB NVMe M.2 SSD
Dolby Atmos surround sound

Well there is Testify from the same leaker to the less powerfully equipped model. It is said that the entry-level model with a vanilla Z1 processor and a 256 GB SSD will cost $599.99. If that’s true, then ASUS places both configurations close in price to Valve’s Steam Deck. It is unknown whether ASUS would like to offer a cheaper model with eMMC storage, as Valve is doing. Exciting box anyway, I’m really curious about the battery life myself – and how you beat the Steam Deck.
