A good year after their divorce, Julia (Julia Koschitz) and Tom (Felix Klare) are back in court. At Julia’s request, custody of their daughter is to be re-determined. During the interrogation, eight-year-old Anni (Lisa Marie Trense) panics – she would rather be dead than have anything to do with her father. What led to this vehement rejection?

The German TV Award celebrates the TV highlights of 2022. Barbara Schöneberger presents great entertainment moments, surprises, music and emotional awards. The winners in 19 categories are honored in a big gala. The highlight this year is once again the honorary award in the category Lifetime Achievement. In recent years, this has been awarded to Hape Kerkeling, Jürgen von der Lippe, Thomas Gottschalk and Senta Berger, among others.

After the death of her husband, Kyle (Jodie Foster) decides to leave Germany with her daughter Julia (Marlene Lawston). Shortly after the machine started, the woman fell asleep. When she wakes up again, the little girl has disappeared from the face of the earth. None of the other passengers and crew have ever seen Julia, and she doesn’t appear on the passenger list either. While everyone assumes that Kyle is going insane, the woman embarks on a desperate search for her daughter.

Moderator Jörg Pilawa sends celebrities to a very special school. Because on the show, only elementary school students teach the stars. After the lessons with the junior teachers in front of Jörg Pilawa, they have to pass the primary school exam. The new curriculum provides for examinations in seven subjects: German, mathematics, English, local history and general knowledge, sport, art and music. Today Abdelkarim, Wotan Wilke Möhring, Marijke Amado and Janine Kunze are in school.

The son of the couple Melanie (Claudia Michelsen) and Thomas Rensing (Stephan Kampwirth) was kidnapped. Ekki (Oliver Korittke) convinces Wilsberg (Leonard Lansink) to help his cousin’s family because they don’t want to inform the police. Wilsberg will hand over the money. A suspect is quickly found – Wolfgang Schwendter (Michael Lott) was once accused of child abuse. A bloody t-shirt is found on his property, indicating that he may be the culprit and Max is likely dead. But there is no concrete evidence of this.
