Franziska Tobler (Eva Löbau) and Friedemann Berg (Hans-Jochen Wagner) are investigating in a small town in Breisgau: There is of course no standard for how a woman should behave when her husband and son are missing. And yet the stoic behavior of Sandra Vogt (Lisa Hagmeister) irritates the inspectors in particular while they are trying to clear up the case.

During the investigation, the team led by Max Arnold (Adrian Scarborough) and Priya Shamsie (Sonita Henry) takes a close look at the victim’s professional and private environment. It turns out that the ideal world around Oliver actually had some cracks. His wife is also suspected of murder.
