FC Bayern Munich is in the semi-finals of the Champions League after a 1-0 win in the second leg against Arsenal. This hasn’t happened since 2020. The international press reviews.
“The Guardian”, Great Britain: “It was an evening in which Bayern Munich lived up to its claims of being of a completely different caliber in the Champions League. Perhaps the obituaries for an ailing superpower (…) were written too quickly.”
FC Bayern Munich keeps “last chance for the title alive”
“Daily Mail”, Great Britain: “Bayern, who had to give up the Bundesliga crown to Bayer Leverkusen at the weekend after eleven titles in a row, have kept their hope of winning the big title by reaching the semi-finals of the Champions League alongside their German colleagues Borussia Dortmund.”
“Marca”, Spain: “Kimmich’s header takes Bayern Munich past Arsenal and into the semi-finals of the Champions League. The midfielder scored the only goal of the evening to the delight of the home fans.”
