The shift to the right in the USA, for example, is frightening, yes, but it has revitalized democracy. This is slow, but not to be underestimated. It only failed “where we neglected it”. In general, the panacea is love, active love, love as a way of life, “it will also be beautiful and useful, and it can save us and the world.” Now at the location of the speech, in the Kammerspiele theater, director Sandra Strunz premiered Kennedy’s latest novel “As if we lived in a merciful country” and told the story of mercy as a form of love.
