It’s not official yet – but Kai Havertz’s move to Arsenal is certain. It is made known by a video that probably no one should see yet.

The change of the German national football player Kai Havertz from London Premier League club Chelsea to city rivals Arsenal is apparently perfect. A video is circulating on the internet showing how the 24-year-old in an Arsenal jersey comments on his future club.

Apparently, the clip was accidentally put online for a short time – because the change has not yet been officially announced. The transfer fee for Havertz, who shot Chelsea to the Champions League title in 2021, is reported to be around 75 million euros.

“Kai, welcome to Arsenal. How does it feel to join the club?” A voice can be heard in the video. Havertz replies in the unverified clip that he is very excited. “I am so happy to be part of such a great club.” Arsenal have a famous history and he is convinced that great things can be achieved together. The team has a lot of quality. “The mentality of the team is very high and that was one of the reasons why it was so difficult to play against Arsenal,” said Havertz. There is a “family mentality”. The offensive player wears shirt number 29 again.

Havertz moved from Bayer Leverkusen to London in 2020 for 80 million euros. He recently missed out on a place in the European Cup with Chelsea. Arsenal also want to sign other stars. As the broadcaster Sky Sports reported, the runner-up increased his offer for the English international Declan Rice from local rivals West Ham United to 122 million euros.
