The 835th Hamburg port anniversary ends with the traditional departure parade. 1.5 million people attended the harbor festival this year.
After four days, the 835th Hamburg port anniversary comes to an end today. According to the organizers, around 1.5 million people visited the maritime festival this year. “The guests of the 835th port birthday were treated to a great program in the best weather,” said Hamburg’s Senator for Economic Affairs Melanie Leonhard (SPD) at the end. The harbor birthday ends on Sunday with a departure parade
The harbor anniversary comes to an end with the departure parade. Since many streets between the fish auction hall and the Elbphilharmonie are closed, visitors should travel by subway and S-Bahn. The HVV is expanding its offering during the day and also at night. However, there are restrictions on the Elbe ferries.
