Watch the video: Pool party in Kiev – Everyday clip causes a stir on social media.

This video from Kiev is causing a stir on social media.

The clip shows a swimming pool in which there is a lot of activity in the best of weather.

Numerous social media users posted the video along with misleading statements, apparently to downplay or deny the Ukraine war.

However, it is kept secret that the consequences of the war are also being felt in Kiev and that the city is not directly on the front line.

Fact-checkers from fact-checking website Snopes confirm that the video was shot at Fifty Beach Club in Kiev.

Research by the stern verification team shows that Edward Marinescu is very likely to be the author of the video.

On Twitter he comments on the clip and explains why he uploaded it:

“I am the author of this video and made it for my tiktok account. I’m just showing that thanks to all the air defense systems we received from the US, Germany, etc., the people of Ukraine can live a normal life.”

Marinescu posts more videos showing everyday life in Kiev on his social media channels. Thunderous explosions, air raid alarms and people fleeing – the clips are intended to underscore that the war is not going unnoticed by the people of the Ukrainian capital, despite a visit to a swimming pool.
