Political division: the power of clear stance – knowledge

If politicians change their point of view and thus deviate from the line of their party, this is often considered suspicious. Such figures are often criticized for being unprincipled or associated with ugh-ugh parties on the political fringes. Of course, criticism of this kind applies when a political figure apparently only adopts contrary positions because the polls have tilted. However, there are many good reasons why even politicians change their stance on major issues and deviate from the range of topics in their camp – new, relevant information emerges, geostrategic general weather conditions change, interests of different groups have to be rebalanced or other things. However, these figures rarely inspire enthusiasm: people particularly appreciate it when others carry clear, consistent attitudes and represent them with vehemence. On the other hand, the moderate doubter, who distrusts his own opinion and opposes camp thinking, wins fewer hearts.
