Two people die from stab wounds in Hanover. The crime scenes are only a few hundred meters apart. The police examined whether the crimes were connected.
One or more perpetrators fatally injured two men with a stabbing weapon in Hanover during the night. Both fatalities are according to the Early morning police 45 years old. According to the police, the background is still unclear, as is whether the crimes are related. The perpetrator or perpetrators are on the run.
A previously unknown man stabbed a guest in an arcade in the Nordstadt district, a police spokeswoman said. The 45-year-old victim died at the scene. Another guest wanted to come to the victim’s aid and was also injured, but was able to receive outpatient care. A little later the police were called to a hotel on Hamburger Allee. A 45-year-old was also attacked there with a stabbing weapon. He died from his injuries in hospital.
There are only a few hundred meters between the two crime scenes. Because of the local proximity and the procedure, a connection between the two crimes cannot be ruled out, said a police spokeswoman.
