The police then went to the scene. They were targeted by the armed man in question. Exchanges of gunfire take place. Two BAC police officers each fired at least twice in response. A police officer is injured in the forearm. The suspect died, despite cardiac massage from emergency services. The man, who lived in Hauts-de-Seine, was already known to the authorities for acts of violence against a spouse.

Police officer and national secretary SGP Police Unit Linda Kebbab reacted on X: “The police officers from the BAC Noisy-le-Grand prevented a femicide at the risk of their lives. In the stairwell of the woman in danger, the author shot the police officers.”
