Police in Poingen stop drunk drivers – Ebersberg

A fine of 500 euros and a month’s driving ban await an 18-year-old who was caught drunk in his car by the police. The officers of the Poing police station stopped the young man from the southern district of Ebersberg on Wednesday evening at around 10.55 p.m. on Münchner Strasse in Neufarn. During the control, a breath alcohol level was found that exceeded the permitted limit of 0.25 milligrams per liter, as the police wrote in a press release. Thereupon the further journey was prevented and the vehicle key of the 18-year-old was secured.

He was then taken to the police station in Poing, where a breath alcohol test that could be used in court was carried out. There he was released again after the case had been processed. The 18-year-old must now expect a fine of 500 euros and a month’s driving ban.
