The police caught a 45-year-old man red-handed who wanted to break into a car in the parking lot next to Heimstetten S-Bahn station on Thursday afternoon. According to the press report, a witness observed how the man tried to smash the window of a parked vehicle with a stone and shook the door handle. When several patrol cars got there, they found the suspect. The 45-year-old was taken to the detention center at the Munich police headquarters.
