The Poinger youth choir is looking for new singers and will resume rehearsals in the Seliger Pater Rupert Mayer church on Friday after the Easter holidays. All young people between the ages of 14 and 25 can take part, no previous experience is necessary, as choir director Simon Bauer says: “It doesn’t matter whether someone already sings in the choir or is completely new to singing, everyone is welcome.” Mainly pieces from pop, jazz, gospel/spiritual are sung. In addition to the weekly rehearsals from 5 to 5.45 p.m., performances in concerts, places of worship and an annual rehearsal weekend are planned.
