Podcast “Munich personally”: How ready for film is Munich, Ms. Koschitz? – Munich

Actress Julia Koschitz has a special relationship with Munich. “The last beautiful day of autumn”, “Shopping”, “Munich 7”: She has often moved through the city in films. She lives here too. How that came about and which places she loves most, she tells in the SZ podcast “Munich personally”.

Julia Koschitz is not only a sought-after actress, she is also extremely versatile. In the psychological thriller series “In the Shadow of Fear” she plays a very serious court expert. But she has also appeared in comedy series (“Alone among Farmers”/Sat.1, “Doctor’s Diary”/RTL). And one of her first roles after training at the Franz Schubert Conservatory in Vienna was Johanna in Schiller’s “The Maid of Orleans” at the theater in Regensburg. A larger span? Difficult to imagine.

Which Munich films she grew up with, why her first encounter with Munich was disappointing, why the city has nevertheless been her base for 20 years, which places she is drawn to again and again and which world-famous Munich institutions she will probably never warm to: The range of topics during the conversation in the theater restaurant of the Kammerspiele was also large.

For the podcast of the Munich editorial team, the People editor Sabine Buchwald, the social editor Jana Jöbstl and Ulrike Heidenreich and René Hofmann, the heads of the Munich, Region and Bavaria departments, alternately meet with very different guests. They pick them up at their place of residence or their place of work for a personal exchange.

It’s about current projects and very personal plans, about topics that move the city. The SZ podcast team invites people who have a connection to Munich. You live in the city or you are visiting. They come from the fields of politics, gastronomy, culture, sports or media.
