The police checked the van on Tuesday around 12:20 p.m. at the Pocking junction on Autobahn 3, a few kilometers behind the border with Austria. The neighboring federal police station in Freilassing, Upper Bavaria, reported that officers registered 101 unauthorized entries on Monday alone. A van with a total of 17 people in it was also discovered in Burghausen early on Monday morning.
