The Planegger municipal council will now discuss an expansion of the Steinkirchen industrial park by around 10,000 square meters in an easterly direction. At the meeting of the committee on Thursday evening, the Green Group 21 submitted a request to review the decision that the committee had made last week – a decision that had led to criticism and two resignations, especially in the local nature conservation association. The two chairmen Dorit Zimmermann and Hildburg Kraemer have now made their offices available. In order to pass the motion of Group 21, three municipal councils had to approve. Surprisingly, in addition to Eva Schreier (Green Group) and Felix Kempf (SPD), Peter von Schall-Riaucour (Pro Planegg and Martinsried) also agreed on Thursday evening, who had expressly supported an expansion of the industrial park in the first vote. As a justification, the politician told the SZ on Friday that his “understanding of democracy and complete transparency” had prompted him to “press the reset button”. Since a decision for an extension not only affects the zoning plan that has just been adopted, but also the specially prepared citizen’s report, which expressly did not want an extension, he believes that “this very important decision” must be approved by the entire plenary session of the local council. However, this does not change anything in his basic attitude. The first decision had only been made by the local council’s environmental committee.
